Man Shot, Killed at N. Philly ATM

Man Shot, Killed at N. Philly ATM

Police are looking for the man who shot and killed another at a North Philadelphia ATM a little after midnight on Wednesday.

The shooting happened on 9th and Diamond Streets.

Authorities say a 57-year-old man stopped to use the ATM when another man pulled up in a car, got out and pulled a gun on the victim.

Police believe the suspect demanded money. They say there was a struggle between the two that resulted in the shooting of the victim.

He was shot in the neck, chest and back, officials say.

The victim was rushed to Temple Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The entire incident was caught on a local business’ surveillance video. Police are reviewing that tape.

Authorities say the suspect is of average height and that he was last seen wearing light colored clothing.

Anyone with information is urged to call Philadelphia Police.
