After flooding destroyed dozens of students' cars in early September, University of Hartford sent out an early warning before more rain arrives.
A flood watch is in effect for the Hartford-area from noon on Friday through Saturday night and school officials have asked students whose cars are in low-lying parking lots -- C,D,E,F and N-lot extensions --should be moved to higher locations within those lots, or to Lot M.
The university is asking students to return the cars to their assigned lots by Sunday at noon.
