Arlington police said a 3-year-old boy who reportedly fell from an apartment complex Thursday was airlifted to a Fort Worth hospital.
Police spokeswoman Tiara Ellis Richard said officers were dispatched to the complex in the 900 block of East Sanford Street at about 4:30 p.m.
Officers found the child on the ground outside. Police were told the 3-year-old fell from a third-story apartment window. His mother was inside the apartment at the time of the fall, police said.
CareFlite flew the boy to Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth with a possible head injury. Arlington police said his injuries could be life-threatening.
Police are investigating the fall but said there are no obvious signs of foul play.
