Family and friends will gather at a Northwest Indiana church Friday morning to say their final farewells to Amanda Bach, the 19-year-old who found slain along some railroad tracks in Porter County last Saturday.
A funeral mass will be said at 10 a.m. at Nativity Catholic Church in Portage.
But while family and friends say goodbye, police are still searching for clues, including the murder weapon. Bach was found shot in the neck.
Dustin McGowan, 18, faces one count of murder and is being held with no bond at the Porter County Jail. So far, details about a possible motive have not surfaced in the case.
Sheriff's police are still urging the public to come forward if they think they have any information about the case.
