A bizarre discovery in Interstate 95 has led to a death investigation.
Investigators are trying to identify the body found on top of a tractor trailer in Fairfax County. Around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 25, someone spotted it on top of the truck in Lorton and called 911.
Virginia State Police pulled over the driver near the Fairfax County Parkway.
Troopers are now trying to figure out how the person died and ended up on top of the truck. A witness told police they saw a person on top of a bridge in Maryland earlier in the afternoon.
