The New Jersey Hall of Fame is scheduled to announce the nominees for its next class on Tuesday afternoon.
Voters will then have until January to go online to choose their favorite New Jerseyans from the fields of history, arts and entertainment, enterprise and general interest.

The hall celebrates New Jersey history by honoring its many talented residents and former residents. Prior inductees have included Civil Rights activist Paul Robeson, rock musician Bruce Springsteen, actor Jack Nicholson and Olympian Carl Lewis.
