A driver sitting in a disabled car was shot late Monday on the side of the 210 Freeway, according to authorities.
The shooting occurred at about 11 p.m. near the San Bernardino Avenue exit after the victim pulled over to fix a flat tire. Gunfire shattered the driver and passenger side windows of the pickup.
Details regarding the victim's condition were not immediately available.
The freeway was closed for about 2 1/2 hours during the shooting investigation. Lanes reopened at about 2 a.m.
