Three people were hospitalized during the weekend after brownies laced with marijuana were served at a funeral service in Huntington Beach.
The brownies were served in memory of the deceased at a Saturday service, according to investigators.
Two women, both 71, and an 82-year-old man who ate the brownies were hospitalized after the memorial service. They complained of nausea, dizziness and an inability to stand without assistance.
The attendees did not know the brownies contained marijuana, according to investigators. The baked goods were offered on a tray without any information about their contents.
