Stink Bugs Seek Warmth for Winter

Stink Bugs Seek Warmth for Winter

Just when you thought you didn't have to worry about stink bugs anymore, the critters are now seeking refuge from the cool weather.

The ideal location? Your house.

A University of Delaware insect researcher says the cold weather means stink bugs will be heading inside your homes.

The stink bugs came out in full force earlier this year and are on track to become an annoyance again.

Experts recommend that homowners seal cracks around windows, doors, dryer vents and other openings to prevent the bugs from entering.

The stink bugs are merely a nusiance to most in our area, but do pose a large agricultural risk to local farmers' fruit crops.

What can you do about the pests?  Here are some tips for killing the critters on your own.
