Police say they're looking for four or five young men who allegedly stole fishing gear from a riverside
shack and then led police on a boat chase on the Youghioheny River in southwestern Pennsylvania.
Police say the men -- believed to be teens or in their early 20s -- broke into a boat and also allegedly stole fishing gear from a nearby shed at the McKee's Point Marina in McKeesport Thursday afternoon. That's about 10 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.
Police say the victim gave chase and saw the men hop into another boat which they drove away. A WPXI-TV news helicopter was able to track the boat's progress until it was abandoned on a heavily wooded shore a few miles away. Police have been searching that area for the suspects.
