Federal prosecutors have asked a judge to revoke former Police Inspector Daniel Castro's bail and send him to jail immediately.
On Tuesday, Castro was sentenced to five years in prison for extortion.
At a news conference after his hearing, Castro showed pictures of the men who accused him and testified against him.
He claimed they were to blame and he was the innocent victim.
In a statement, the US Attorney’s office said “the defendant has continued to engage in the same pattern of threatening misconduct that was the subject of his indictment.”
But Castro’s lawyer, Brian McMonagle, insists Castro made no threats. He just said what he felt about the two men. And that Castro always felt he had been trapped.
Castro is scheduled to start serving his sentence November 15th.
