Prosecutors say a man has been fined $100 for refusing to leave a fundraiser for House Majority Leader Eric Cantor.
The Louisa County Commonwealth's Attorney's Office says in a news release that a circuit court judge convicted Jonathan Taylor of trespassing on Thursday.
Police arrested Taylor in October 2010 after he refused the owner's request to leave a coffee shop in Louisa where a fundraiser for Cantor was being held. Cantor arrived after the incident.
A lower court convicted Taylor of trespassing in February. He appealed to the circuit court and was convicted again following a three-hour trial.
