Easton Woman Nearly Cuts Off Girlfriend’s Nose: Police

A domestic dispute leaves an Easton, Pa. woman behind bars, charged with almost cutting her girlfriend’s nose off, as well as stabbing her in the stomach early Saturday morning, reports The Morning Call.

Police say that they were called to the home of 30-year-old April Jones just before 3 a.m. There, they found Jones’ girlfriend Jaquetta Onque on the kitchen floor, bleeding, with her nose “barely attached to her face,” says the paper.

Jones told 911 dispatch and police that Onque was cut with a bottle while they were “fooling around,” according to court records obtained by The Morning Call.

She later told police that she stabbed her girlfriend.

The paper reports that Jones is behind bars facing multiple charges including simple and aggravated assault.

Her bail is set at $25,000.
