The royal court for the 2012 Rose Parade now has a queen.
Drew Washington was named queen Tuesday morning. The 16-year-old attends Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy.
More than 1,000 teens applied for the royal court. Last week, 34 finalists were narrowed down to seven.
The remaining members of the court are:
- Morgan Devaud (18, La Canada High School)
- Stephanie Hynes (18, Maranatha High School)
- Cynthia Louie (17, La Salle High School)
- Kimberly Ostiller (17, Flintridge Preparatory School)
- Hanan Worku (17, Pasadena High School)
- Sarah Zuno (17, Benjamin Franklin High School)
Last year, Evanne Elizabeth Friedmann of La Canada High School served as Rose Queen.
