The Keller Independent School District is trying to prevent an outbreak of methicillin resistant staphyloccus aureus (MRSA) infections.
The district reported an employee at Florence Elementary school came down with the infection.
Parents were sent a letter Monday notifying them of the situation and reminding students to wash their hands frequently and to avoid sharing items that may spread the infection.
Meanwhile, the district is cleaning and disinfecting classrooms at the school every night.
