Bicyclist Shot and Killed in Northeast D.C.

Police are searching for the gunman who shot and killed a bicyclist in Northeast Washington.

The shooting happened at the 1600 block of Lincoln Road at 8:00 p.m. Monday.  The victim was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police are not releasing the victim's name.  So far, no arrests have been made.

In January, a man was shot and killed nearby at Truxton Park.  That case remains open.

Also Monday night, a man was shot and killed at a Southeast gas station.  The incident occurred at 2917 Martin Luther King Avenue.  Police did not release any more information on that victim, either.
