An alleged student hazing incident caught on tape is putting the spotlight on a Northwest Side high school.
Tom Cipriani, 47, and Jonathan Manning, 21, are charged with misdemeanor battery and misdemeanor endangering the life of a child. The two men are assistant football coaches at Prosser Career Academy, according to police.
Four students either 17 or 18 years old are also facing charges.
Cipriani and the students beat a 14-year-old student with belts on school grounds on October 18th, the Sun-Times reports.
Police said Manning videotaped the hazing resulting in an additional misdemeanor charge.
Both coaches have been barred from the high school and face discipline. The students also face punishment, the paper reports.
