A woman is dead following a hit and run that happened in the Wissinoming section of the city Thursday morning, police said.
The fatal hit and run took place on Torresdale Avenue and Fraley Street just before 7 a.m.
Police located the vehicle they say was used in the hit and run a short time later on Milnor Street near Comly Road. The vehicle is a bright blue pickup truck with tinted windows and flames on the side, according to officials.
Police are still searching for the driver.
