A whole ATM was stolen Monday morning from a Chicago restaurant, police said.
The machine was found cleaned out less than two hours later.
The ATM was stolen at 6:39 a.m. from Cafe Ballou, 939 N. Western Ave., according to Chicago Police News Affairs. It was found opened and heavily damaged at 7:57 a.m. in the trash at 5620 S. Ashland. The cash was removed.
No one was in custody, News Affairs said. Police would not confirm the location it was taken from.
