A Jersey shore town might allow horseback riding on its beach in the off-season as a way to raise money.
Wildwood's City Commission discussed the plan on Tuesday.
The Press of Atlantic City reports Mayor Ernie Troiano Jr. said the city is looking for a company that could provide the service and clean up after the horses. The mayor also suggested the city consider allowing individuals to ride their own horses on the beach for a fee.
Horseback riding most likely would be permitted between October and March or April.
