A former Top Chef Just Desserts contestant who lives in Plano faces felony counts of child pornography.
Morgan Wilson was indicted on three second-degree felony charges of possession and intent to distribute child pornography.
He was arrested in December 2010 after undercover investigators received file transfers from Wilson's computer via the file-sharing program Limewire, according to the arrest affidavit.
The images allegedly contained photos and videos of sexual acts performed by children as young as 2 years old.
According to court documents, Wilson admitted to downloading images and videos of child pornography.
No one answered the door at Wilson's Plano apartment on Thursday.
Plano police declined to comment on the case.
Wilson, a divorced father of a 7-year-old boy, was listed as the executive pastry chef of The Lobby Lounge at the Dallas Ritz Carlton hotel until Thursday.
Wilson is free on a $10,000 bond under an agreement that he not access any computer without monitoring software. He will go before a judge Oct. 27.
