Police in Brooklyn are looking into a sexual assault and robbery in a neighborhood already troubled by a string of sexual attacks since March.
The latest attack, however, in Sunset Park, does not fit the pattern of the 11 previous assaults, police said.
Sunday's attack took place at 5:30 a.m. at 6th Avenue and 60th Street, and a 35-year-old woman was assaulted in the incident.
Police said the suspect pulled the victim's hair and fondled her before stealing her purse.
A clear description of the suspect was not given.
Police have been investigating a separate series of sex attacks in the Sunset Park, Park Slope and Greenwood Heights sections of Brooklyn since March. They've released three suspect sketches and several surveillance videos but no arrests have been made in the attacks.
