Two people were stabbed Tuesday morning at a Metro Red Line station in Hollywood.
The stabbing was reported at about 4:30 a.m. at the Hollywood and Western station, which remained closed for the investigation. The stabbing occurred in a mezzanine area, according to a Metro spokesman.
The male victim was hospitalized in serious, but stable condition. Details regarding a female victim's condition were not immediately available.
The attacker ran from the area, according to a Metro official. The station was expected to reopen Tuesday morning.
In August, a 33-year-old man was arrested in connection with a fatal attack at another Metro Red Line station in Hollywood. The victim's family announced in September that they plan to file a lawsuit against the LA County Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
Another attack occurred in August on the Metro Gold Line.
