A FedEx truck slammed into an out of control car on Interstate 805 Monday night killing two people, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A black Honda Civic lost control around 10 p.m. near Clairemont Mesa Boulevard and was broadsided by the FedEx truck, according to CHP.
Two of the three women in the car died on the scene.
The third woman was taken to Sharp Memorial Hospital.
Officers say fog was not a factor in the accident.
